Printing photos

Although a lot of photo sharing these days is done online, when you've got those special photos you are going to want some prints. You can print from Elements' Editor or from the Organizer. Here in the Full Edit workspace, I have an image opened that I want to print. I'm going to click and hold in the document information area to see that this file is set up with 300 pixels per inch and at that resolution it's going to print at approximately 10 inches wide by 7 inches tall. To print the image, I'll go up to the File menu and I'll choose Print.

That opens the Print dialog box, the same dialog box that I would get if I print it from the Organizer. Over on the right, the steps for printing are spelled out. The first step is to choose the printer you want to use. I have my Epson Stylus C88 Series (M), plugged-in and turned-on, so it appears in this menu.
