Adobe Revel is a free cloud service that Adobe includes with the elements programs. This is brand new to version 12. It's fully integrated into premier elements and the elements organizer as well as Photoshop Elements. The cloud concept means that the media is stored online. And you can access it anytime from any device, any portable device, any computer, any place in the world that has a internet connection. And I can grab these files and import them into my project just as if they were on my computer's hard drive. To access my Adobe Revel account, I simply go to add media and select Adobe Revel.
These files are not on my computer. They're up on the Adobe Revel site and I can drag them now simply to my timeline directly from Adobe Revel. In the program we'll download them from this site right to my computer. They are the are on my timeline. Now the Revel concept, the cloud concept is very nice because it does allow you easy access to any media files that you store up there on the cloud. They are just as easy to access as if they were right on your computer. There are a number of ways to interface here with the Adobe Revel Cloud and you will find also if you go to publish and share that you can share up to your Revel Cloud, your album here.
We can also access it from the elements organizer where it's fully integrated And then you can share this album with your friends. Your friends can have access to the media, you can put up media files there that are simply for viewing, or media files that you ultimately want to use, or anyone else wants to use in their own video projects. Now the beauty of cloud storage is you can treat any media files you have on your adobe revel as if they were right on your computer, or right on your mobile device. You can edit them. You can make slideshows of the photos that are up there. You can add them to your projects just as easily as if they were on your own hard drive.
You can do that, again, from any computer or mobile device that's signed in to your Adobe Revel account.
