Hiding and deleting photos

Not every photograph you take will be a winner, but don't be so fast to delete the duds, because you could change your mind later and want to get the photo back. If you have deleted the photo from the Organizer, it will be difficult to find. Even worse, if you delete the photo from your hard drive, it may be gone completely unless you have a backup. So instead, use the Hide Photos features in the Organizer to hide unwanted photos from view temporarily. Let me show you how to do that. I'm working in the 02_07-hiding folder here in the Chapter 02 Exercise Files folder.

I'm going to give myself a little more room to work by moving my mouse over the border, between this column and the Photo Browser, and dragging that border to the left.
