Fixing photo dates

In the Photo Browser, a date appears under each photo thumbnail. Usually that date is the date that you took the picture, but if you brought the picture in from a scanner or from another source other than your camera that date may not be accurate. It may not reflect the date you took the picture and that's usually the date that you want to remember. Elements gives you a way to adjust the date and time of any photo that you brought into the Organizer. Let's see how to do that. I'm working in the 02_06-dating folder inside the Chapter 2 folder in our exercise files. And there I have this photograph of a bed and underneath the photograph is the date July 4 2008 at 12:22pm.

Now I know that I took that photo earlier, and so I want to adjust the date to reflect the actual date that the photo was made. So I'm going to select the photo by clicking on it and then I'm going to up to the Edit menu at the top of the screen and I'm going to choose Adjust Date and Time. In the ...
