Creating DVD menus using templates

Once you have added Scene Markers and Stop Markers and Beginning Markers to your timeline, you are ready to have Premiere Elements automatically create your DVD menus. I have set up a project here with two videos in it. You can follow along by opening up 13-dvd-menus. You will see that there is a little horse story here, the thing that you have seen before if you did the Markers tutorial, and then I've added a little underwater thing over here with some music on it. Two separate videos. You'll notice there are a bunch of green Scene Selection or Chapter Markers, a couple of red Stop Markers that indicate the end of the video, and tucked away right here underneath this green thing-- I'll expand it a little bit by putting the current- time indicator there. If I expand the timeline by pressing plus, you see there is a Marker indicating the main menu that's the beginning of this particular video and that will add a button to the main menu that allows you then to go to this ...
