What is Electron?: Electron: Building Cross Platform Desktop Apps

Electron is a framework for building native applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. it uses Node.js as well as the Chromium Browser so that you can use technologies that web developers are familiar with to build regular apps. You can create cross platform applications that work on Mac or Windows. In this course, we'll also use both the Bootstrap framework (version 3) as well as the React Library to make it easier to build interface elements into our application.
