About the Author
Elaine Harris is a customer service expert, trainer, and author focused on student success and leadership.
Elaine is a professor at the University of Central Oklahoma in the areas of marketing, customer service, and student success. Her research and consulting in the customer service industry led her to write Customer Service: A Practical Approach, which is currently in its 6th edition. She has served on several city and regional task forces to identify training needs and develop tools and resources to meet the ever-changing requirements of the customer service world. Elaine has owned and helped direct multiple businesses and is a speaker and mentor for emerging professionals. She has recently become a beekeeper and is inspired by the teamwork of her bees working toward common goals.
