- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Chris Mattia, and welcome to WordPress in the Classroom. In this course, we'll explore how you can use WordPress to create a learner-centered environment focused on sharing knowledge and ideas on the open web and creating an open connected community of engaged learners in your classroom. We'll begin by exploring the concept of an Open Connected Course in a pursuit to answer the question of why use WordPress in your classroom? We'll step through the process of setting up and running a WordPress site on a hosted server that models a typical university's infrastructure.
A focus of this course will be on syndicating content from our students and open participants and managing the flow of that content throughout our site. We have a lot to cover, so let's get started with WordPress in the Classroom.
