- In the last chapter, we saw how to configure Reflector to mirror mobile devices using AirPlay and Chromecast to the main display for our class. In the last movie, we saw how to record our screen with a screen recorder. Now, let's blend these two technologies together to record a screencast of our mobile device. Begin by setting up your screen recorder to capture the entire screen and audio from your headset microphone and, if you have sound coming from your mobile device, turn on record system audio. Then open Reflector so that it's ready to mirror your mobile device. With your mobile device ready to begin mirroring, press the record button on your screen recorder. Then begin mirroring your mobile device to your laptop. When the mirroring begins, take a deep breath, relax, and then begin using your mobile device to show what you want to record. When you're finished, stop screen sharing from your mobile device and then press the keyboard command to stop the screen recording. I'll…
