- I want to thank you for joining me throughout this course, Foundations of Teaching with Technology. Let's look at some next steps. First and foremost, I hope you'll keep coming back for ideas and strategies, this course will be here when you need it. If you're looking for other lynda.com courses that compliment what you've learned here about teaching with technology then here are a few to check out. Next, you might just want to know more about a technology I mentioned and how to use it. These three are a good place to start, Screencasting Fundamentals with David Rivers, Learning Management System Fundamentals with Aaron Quigley, and Up and Running with Twitter with Maria Langer, or maybe you want to dive more deeply into teaching and learning topics. Here are some titles to review, Visual Thinking Strategies with Philip Yenawine, The Neuroscience of Learning with Britt Andreatta, and Classroom Management Fundamentals with Aaron Quigley.

If you want to know about other good sources of information about teaching with technology I can start you off with a couple. Whether you teach K-12 or higher ed classes, edutopia.org by the George Lucas Educational Foundation provides case stories of teaching with technology in different settings. In a couple of the movies in this course I've mentioned MERLOT, or the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching, in addition to the hundreds of resources shared by teachers around the world they also have a companion site called ELIXR.

Those digital case stories include the process the teachers went through to integrate technology. Both Edutopia and MERLOT have communities you can join to stay engaged as you try out new technologies for teaching. Last, I hope you'll share how you've put into practice what you've learned.
