- [Instructor] Hi, I'm Oliver Schinkten, and thank you for joining me in this course in which we'll take a look at some best practices for creating effective instruction. This course is intended for anyone responsible for providing learning or training for others. In this short course, we'll take a look at some of the things that you'll consider when creating instruction, including learning objectives, scope and sequence, resources, and accessibility. By the completion of this course, you should be able to develop a big picture, goals, and learning objectives for your instruction; determine the scope and sequence of your instruction; understand the importance of considering factors such as predictability, your target audience, logistics, and feedback; and also, develop a list of tools and resources that you'll use for your situation.
Taking the time upfront to create a great instructional game plan can save you a lot of frustration down the road, and can drastically improve the learning experience for your learners.
