Join Chris Mattia for an in-depth discussion in this video Welcome, part of Training Tips Weekly.
- Hi, my name is Chris Mattia and I've been helping teachers and trainers enhance their instructional materials for over 20 years. In this weekly series we'll take on real world examples that you can put into practice today, to enhance your instructional materials on any budget. We'll focus on designing lessons based on sound pedagogy, creating engaging assets for those lessons and delivering the instruction with a learner centered approach. We'll explore empowering web technologies, instructional video production, leveraging mobile devices, building core skills with instructional technologies and much more.
This series will not be produced in the normal LinkedIn production facilities that most of the other courses are produced in, rather it'll be created in a tiny home studio that I like to call my ed tech garage. This tiny 108 square foot studio fits inside of a single car garage. Much of the equipment I'll use in the creation of this series has been built by me, on a very modest budget. I think it's important to realize that you do not need a large production facility, a big staff or a big budget to create great instructional materials.
Throughout this series I'll share, with you, ideas, tips and tricks that will help you enhance your instructional materials and engage your learners in a meaningful way. If you're a corporate trainer, a higher ed faculty member or a K-12 teacher be sure to check out the new episode each week, where I'll share with you my best training tips.

Q: Why can't I earn a Certificate of Completion for this course?
A: We publish a new tutorial or tutorials for this course on a regular basis. We are unable to offer a Certificate of Completion because it is an ever-evolving course that is not designed to be completed. Check back often for new movies.
