Traditional ILT
- Okay, so at this point you've got a good idea of what digital learning consists of. What I'd like to do now is to show you how you can add digital elements to traditional learning formats. I'll describe a situation, ask you a series of questions of how you'd get started digitizing it, then I'll explain what I'd do. I'll start with an instructor led training. I'll use a traditional onboarding experience as my example. The onboarding is for project managers who work for a publicly traded construction company who build semi custom homes. These project managers are the main point of contact for the customer and shepherd them through all phases of the construction process. From when the customer signs the contract to the day they move in. A little background on the training environment which may inform your ideas on how certain elements could be digitized.
