Improve writing and citation skills using online resources

- Hi, I'm Oliver Schinkten, and welcome to Teacher Tech Tips, a weekly series dedicated to finding tips, tools, and resources to improve education. There is a major push in education to incorporate literacy in all of the content areas, and for good reason, as literacy is a critical part of everything we do. This week, I want to share a couple resources that will help you and your students with the writing process, as well as how to correctly cite sources of information. The first website is Perdue University's Online Writing Lab, known as the OWL. You can get there by navigating to owl.english.perdue.edu /owl So this is the homepage for Perdue's Online Writing Lab. And there's a lot here. On the left side navigation bar, I'm going to click on the General Writing tab. And this will update that navigation bar and give me some subtopics.
