Join Chris Mattia for an in-depth discussion in this video Editing your first screen recording, part of ScreenFlow Essential Training.
- [Instructor] Now that we have our…first screen cast recording,…let's explore two of the most common types of edits.…If you're following along with me…I'm in the Tour Finder document that…we recorded in the last movie.…In the timeline, we have two clips…stacked on top of each other.…The top clip is the audio recorded from our microphone…and our bottom clip is the screen…recording from our desktop.…At the front of each clip is a large icon…that identifies the content on that clip…as being either audio or video.…
When editing most screen cast content,…begin by focusing first on the audio…and then on the video.…In this clip we can clearly see the wave form,…but to get a better view of the beginning of the clip,…let's turn off the icons by clicking on the toggle…thumbnails tool here in the bottom right of our application.…Then we'll zoom in to the timeline by dragging…the zoom slider a little bit to the right.…Now, let's play back the video clip to see…what changes we make want to make.…
Watch the wave form as the play head goes over them,…
