- Hi. Welcome to teacher tips. I'm Oliver Schinkten. In past episodes, we've talked about creating videos as well as a plethora of educatioal resources that exist for our students in the digital age. But where can we store flip classes for our students to watch? Where can we store video projects by students to share with an authentic audience? I believe the best answer is a YouTube channel. This option is easy to access, easy to manage, gives you a ton of features an storage, and is connected directly to a Gmail account. The best part? It's free. Usually the mention of a YouTube channel alarms most people especially in education. Maybe you want to share your videos with your students but not the whole world. Also maybe you're concerned about privacy issues with student videos. Many people think YouTube and automatically think anyone in the world can watch the video. But this simply isn't true.
