Archiving a project

- [Instructor] Your video is all done, and now it's sitting on YouTube collecting hits, likes, and happy comments. Time to delete your project and free up some drive space, right? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a very emphatic no. The odds are somewhere down the road, you're going to need to correct an error, update the video with some new information, or maybe just recycle some of the media in a new project. So instead, consider archiving your project. It's very easy, let me show you how. I'm going to go to File, Save As, and you can name it whatever you want. Do your future self a favor and name it something sensible. I'm going to call mine Five Things Archive. Now here's the critical component. Make sure Create standalone project is checked. This tells Camtasia to pack everything into one glorious Camtasia-friendly folder. Then I'm going to click Save.
