- [Instructor] Let's take a look at adding sound effects. When used appropriately, sound effects can really help tell and sell your story. Of course sound effects are not always appropriate. I'm sure you've seen presentations where someone added whooshes and swooshes to their PowerPoint and it just turned out nothing short of comical. So, for this video, let's assume you have a project that could benefit from a little air candy. Okay, I already have a few sound effects here in my Media bin and I'll show you how to pick up some of your own at the end of the video. The first thing I like to do is carefully choose where the sound effects will fit in. I like to disable as much audio as I can just so I kind of feel that out, so I'm going to turn off my music here on both tracks and I'll guess I'll leave my vocal track on.
