SVG graphics creation in Illustrator

Logos, illustrations, and even infographics are usually created in a vector drawing application, such as the one shown here, Adobe Illustrator. The reason is rather simple. These images have very sharp and crisp lines, and can be resized without the inevitable pixelization that occurs with photos or graphics in the JPEG, GIF, or PNG imaging formats. Of course there is an issue here and as normal, there's always an issue. The Illustrator drawings in the vector format just can't be used on the web. This is where SVG, scaleable vector graphics images comes into play. In very simple terms, an SVG image is nothing more than a great big whack of XML code that tells the browser how to render the image. If you have mad crazy coding skills, you need nothing more than a text editor to write the code. For the rest of us mortals, Illustrator fits the bill quite nicely.
