A look at track and trace
- (Man) This lesson is all about SAP's Track and Trace functionality. This lesson also represents something that is outside the scope of TM, in that TM doesn't actually do the track and trace or give you the track and trace features, but obviously is closely related to how TM works. So, Event Manager, is the SAP tool for track and trace if you will, a lot of companies choose to implement TM and EM together, they are different skill sets, EM tends to be a lot more technical but they're very highly related to each other as maybe an illustration, there is such a thing, as a concept if you will of actual events, so this is maybe, think of in turns of a freight order, the truck shows up to pick up the load, the load is put on the truck, the truck departs, the truck maybe arrives at a transport point, the truck gets to the customer, the truck gets unloads the product at the destination all these are what would be considered Expected Events.
