What golden arrows do in reports

- If you had a flat file database you'd only have one table. But you can have more than one table as well. We connect them by columns found in both databases. We call that linking column a key. A key with unique values for every row is called a primary key, and provides the power link records together. If you've worked with SAP Business One, you've seen primary keys. They are the links here used for the golden arrows. Lets go take a look at one of the A/R invoices we have of one of these golden arrows from the Drag & Relate report we'd already did. You'll see golden arrows at the top for the business partner and the contact person. You'll also see one for the item number. Clicking the arrow next to the item number, goes the appropriate record which is a Bill of Materials. The idea of a primary key is that there's only one row in the business partner master data that has that item number. So for example only C20000…
