- [Instructor] Like Sequel, you can add parameters to customize your reports. For an example, let's add a date range to the report. In the field explorer, you'll find an entry for parameter fields. Right click and select new. A create new parameter window appears. Add the name of your parameter at the top. I'm going to call this "date from." Next add the type in the drop down. For SAP Business One, always use date time for dates. Always leave the value static. I can get my parameter values from existing values by connecting to this value field here. I can also limit the suggestions by listing them in the list below. I'm not going to need it here, but if I was making a parameter for status, for example, I'd place p value in here for planned and r for released and so on. Under that is a series of options for the parameter. Only one I change is the prompt text usually. This one says "enter date from," and I'm going to…
