- [Instructor] We have a report that groups data together, but we want a report that gives us some totals too. For math functions on groups we use aggregate functions. Let's give a few a try. So let's go up in our code here to PlannedQty and then I'm going to comment out the GROUP BY start, just so we can see what happens. And then go ahead and execute that. And so now we have the planned quantity amounts here. And now let's go look at the LM4029ACA component. Now you'll see all of the planned quantities here for it. Now let's go ahead and uncomment GROUP, and I'm going to put it on the end here. And then execute. And that shortens things up. If we look here now we only have a few of them. And what they've done is group them by the number by the Planned. So all the fives are together, all the eights, the nines, the 10s, and the 15s. But this report of course is deceptive because it miscounts as the Planned as all are…
