You're ready to create your own reports. We'll start with the report generator inside SAP Business One using the Scripted Query Language known as SQL. Some people, like myself, pronounce it "sequel." SQL is one of the five most popular programming languages in the world. You have a limited subset of that language to make reports only. You as a user can write all the SQL reports you like. SQL is my usual way to get a new report quickly. To show you how to make reports, let's build a production order report. You do this by writing a query. To start, on the dropdown menu, select Tools and then Queries, and then Query Generator. You'll get the Query Generator window. The first column lists tables you use, the second columns of the selected table the third describes your query. At the upper left, let's add your first table. We'll be using production orders so that's O-W-O-R. Press Tab and you'll get the list of columns.…
