- [Instructor] In this entire course, no chapter is more important than this one. You have to understand how SAP named all that data floating around in the Business One. Let's start with the description of a database. A database is an organized collection of data. Data that is related is kept together. For example, I keep all the business partner data together in one place. I can display that data like we did in drag and relate. We'll call those common collections tables. Each business partner is one row of that table, such as Earthshaker Corporation or Huli Pizza. We refer to them as rows or records. Each record is made of entries from different columns such as name or contact person. We'll call those columns or fields. SAP Business One has naming conventions for all the tables it uses.
