- [Instructor] If you have SAP Business One, I'll be using the OEC Computer Company, a computer reseller, which is a demonstration company you can get with SAP Business One, and you likely have a copy already. Many organizations use the OEC Computer Company for testing ideas out, or training staff, so your data may not look like mine and if a few places will act very differently. If you want to work along with me and can't find the OEC Computer Company talk to your system administrator or Business One support partner about getting an access to a copy. While learning, I don't suggest using a live company. Once you know what you're doing that's okay, but not now. We'll be adding SQL and Crystal Reports to SAP Business One, and I've included exercise files. For chapters on SQL you'll find a text file with the SQL code. Using a text editor like Notepad, Atom, or the one I use, Bluefish, you can cut and paste the code in the exercise file into a query preview. I'll be discussing more about text editors about half way through the course. For Crystal Reports you'll be able to open the file directly in Crystal Reports. We'll be working with several reports. SAP Business One is missing some production reports, so I'll make one similar to the one I use for my own live system. For the challenges, you'll be making a sales report. Later on I'll add a bill of materials pricing worksheet and a customized invoice.
