DSO: Transformations and formulas

- [Instructor] So the first step into getting data from our source into our DSO is to transform that data and let SAP BW know how you want to massage that data before it gets into our DSO. In order to create a transformation, we have to right click on our DSO and choose Create Transformation. We can see here that the target of our transformation is already populated. Because we're going to be using this particular DSO. SAP knows that because we right clicked on that DSO. We can see that the name of our data store object that we're using for our target is ZBREW_01 and again that also gets picked up because we right clicked on this particular DSO. The next step requires us to specify where the source of this data is coming from. So where is the transformation going to be feeding off of, in order to get this data. We'll choose our object type.
