- Hi there. My name is Ian Siegel, and welcome to my LinkedIn learning course on Dynamo essentials. I'm thrilled to be introducing you to the world of visual programming in Dynamo. To kick things off, we'll look at what Dynamo is, and how you can use to work more efficiently in your building information modeling, or BIM, process. After covering some basic programming concepts, we'll put those techniques to work by learning how to import and manage different types of information in Dynamo. From there, we'll dive into computational 3D design and construct geometry that's driven by Dynamo data. To tie it all together, we'll finish out the course by extending our workflows into a Revit project, placing various types of Revit families, reading and changing parameters, and creating new project views and sheets. By the time we're finished, you'll have a strong foundation for working more efficiently, accurately and powerfully in your day to day project work. I hope you're as excited as I am.
