Setting up your Revit file template

- [Instructor] Before we get started in Dynamo, we need to make sure that our Revit project template is built with a few elements that Dynamo is going to look for and use while it's setting up our Revit project for us. If you're following along with this course's exercise files, go ahead and navigate to the Revit folder and open the Revit file named NewProject. There are two versions of the file, one for use in Revit 2017 and the other for Revit 2018. Since I'm running Revit 2018, I'll open up NewProject-v2018. First of all, our Dynamo script is going to automatically create new floor plans, ceiling plans, and elevations when you run it, so you'll first want to make sure that the view templates used to create these new views are set up properly. The Dynamo script is also going to automatically create new sheets, so you'll want to make sure that the appropriate title block is loaded into the file as well.
