Parameters: Paneling with Dynamo for Revit
Parameters: Paneling with Dynamo for Revit

Design technologist Colin McCrone gives a tutorial on normalized curve and surface paramters in Dynamo Studio for Autodesk Revit. An evenly spaced series of parameter values will divide a curve evenly if it is an arc or a line, but division along a spline will produce uneven spacing related to the curve derivative. Surfaces are two-dimensional objects, so they require two UV coordinates to specify a point. Specifying one parameter will yield an isocurve or isoline.
