Importing geometry

- [Instructor] Let's talk about how to get geometry into Revit once we've calculated our panels in Dynamo. I'm in an exercise file with two different paneling schemes and two different surfaces. We'll take this as a given from now on. The oldest method for getting something from Dynamo into Revit is called an Import Instance. You may recognize that as the category that imported items appear as if you have imported them such as through a DWG or through an SAT file. We have access to those in Dynamo through two different nodes. And both can be found by typing import instance. The first is by geometry, and the second is by geometries with plural. Let's connect our four-sided panels to the Import Instance by geometry. And note that I'm running in manual mode in Dynamo, which means that we'll have to press the Run button every time we want to update this. It's generally good practice when you're about to push a bunch of things into Revit. Further, I'll use a shortcut for the Run button…
