- [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to build the portion of our script that automatically generates elevation views of our Revit model. If we look back at our Excel file, you'll notice we didn't take the time to create and fill out an elevations worksheet. This is because elevations and sections tend to convey information that's so specific to that particular project based on the building's form and construction. Rather than building a script that will create all of a projects elevations and sections automatically, most of these need to be located thoughtfully as the project develops. The script that we're building aims to automate the parts of Revit project setup that happen on every single project. And it's pretty safe to say that if you're working in the architectural discipline, you'll need to include overall building elevations on every single project.
