Automatically generate Revit levels

- [Instructor] Now that we've gathered the data required to generate levels let's drop in the Dynamo mode that can turn this data into level objects in our Revit project. Before we create any levels I'm going to quickly create a level schedule in Revit that reports all of the levels in the project. This way we will be able to easily see when the level creation mode runs whether or not it worked as we'd expected. To create a new level schedule I click on the view tab in Revit, schedules and then click on schedule and quantities. We'll choose the levels category and then click okay. In particular, I'm interested in seeing the names and the elevations of all of the levels in our project. I'm also interested in sorting them by there elevations. Then I'll go ahead and click okay. As you can see we only have one single level in the project currently, called level one.
