- [Instructor] Let's see how we can use Dynamo to specify a regular pattern between two types of panels in a panel facade. At the end of this exercise, we'll be able to specify the frequency of one panel in each row versus the other, and then finally we'll be able to specify the shift in each row. I'm starting in an exercise file with a surface that's already divided into panels using the panel.panelquad node from the lunchbox library. We'll be dealing with the panel surfaces themselves, so let's see what the list structure looks like. This node gives us a flat list of all the surfaces. It's organized well, but since we'll be making a pattern that depends on the rows and columns, let's divide this list into chopped segments according to how many panels are in each row. For this, we'll use the node list.chop. We'll take the list of surfaces and we'll divide by using the v-slider here the number of panels per row.
