- [Narrator] The auditing feature exists so that you can meet governance, security, and compliance requirements for your organization. You get to determine then, based on regulations and internal rules, how auditing happens. You decide when audit logging is turned on or off and you determine what entities are audited. There are a number of auditable operations including whenever a record is created, updated, deleted, or deactivated. Whenever someone changes the privileges for sharing for a record. When there are changes made to security roles. Or for example, when someone has just deleted a bunch of audit logs.
