- [Instructor] Up to this point most of our administrative work has been done in Microsoft 365 Administration Center. Now we're going to be moving to Dynamics 365 for CE. We begin with a discussion of security roles. Security roles control access to data in Dynamics 365. And each security role is a combination of privileges, which specify actions that a user can take on a set of records. And access levels, which define the scope of records that privilege relates to. Privileges sounds a little fancier than it is. It's a list that we're used to seeing. The ability to create a new record, to read or write a record, to update a record, and also privileges to share, delete, append, or append to a record. There are five access levels. From the most to least powerful, we have first, organization. If, for example, you have a delete privilege at the organization level, then you can delete any record in the organization.…
