- [Instructor] The integration between LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Microsoft Dynamics has two different components. First, there's the LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Microsoft Dynamics app, which is often referred to as the widget. This will be installed by our Dynamics admin. The second component is CRM sync for Sales Navigator, which will be enabled by our LinkedIn Sales Navigator admin. Assuming those folks have already taken care of installing and enabling the integration, what we have then are some amazing new features.
First, we can search LinkedIn data from within Microsoft Dynamics. We can view LinkedIn information in Dynamics, whether we're looking at leads or contacts, accounts, or opportunities. The LinkedIn CRM also allows us to access features that we would normally have to go to LinkedIn or to Sales Navigator to access. From Dynamics, we can send InMail and messages, we can find lead recommendations, and we can read account and lead updates, job changes, and news, again, all without ever leaving Dynamics.
Additionally, if you participate in a team, you have access to Teamlink, the best and quickest way to find connections. Our second component, CRM Sync, imports information from Dynamics to Sales Navigator where there are matching leads and opportunities. So, we get information about accounts, about leads, and about contacts. And if your company wishes, it can also set up write back from Sales Navigator to Dynamics.
This happens on a daily basis. It's not an instantaneous write back, however if you wish you can have InMails, notes, and messages from Sales Navigator appear in Dynamics, and as a user, you have the ability to choose which InMails and which notes are going to be synchronized. If you're a Dynamics user, this integration just opened the door to the world's largest professional network, a half a billion business professionals. And within Dynamics, it gives you access to richer information on both companies and contacts.
