- [Narrator] You have the ability to reset a password for a user. A user forgets their password, needs some help, and can call you and say hey, could you please fix my password for me? For example, Simon, who has a new password, perhaps has forgotten it. So, I'm going to select. And create a new password, or auto-generate a password. And at this point, if I'm auto-generating it, I can auto-generate it, make Simon modify the password the first time that he signs in, and click reset. However, this isn't a great way for any administrator to spend their time. The recommendation is that rather than you resetting passwords for users who lose them, you set up self-service password reset, and that will dramatically minimize the number of times you'll ever have to reset a password.
