- [Instructor] The topic of managing licenses gives us the ability to review a few things we've talked about previously, put them all together at one time. We have some licenses in our subscription, but we've now assigned all of them. We don't have any left. We have a new employee assigned, Pat, and Pat needs a license to Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement. What are our options? Well, the first is to extend our subscription, buy another license, assign it to Pat. But what if we don't have the resources to do that or we don't have the permission to do that within the current budget? Another possibility is to take a license from different user and assign it to Pat. Sort of robbing Peter to pay Paul so to speak. But if we have users who aren't using their licenses and Pat will use a license that makes sense. The third possibility is simply to delete another user and assign their license to Pat.
