- [Narrator] Win or lose, you need to close your opportunities to take advantage of the reporting features in Dynamics. So from a quote, you can create an order and close an opportunity, or you can close a quote from this screen. If I click on Close a Quote, it's assuming that it was lost or canceled. So I'm going to cancel out of that. I'm going to assume I've won this, so I need to create an order. Order is a win. Close is a loss. And in this particular case, they didn't make an changes to the invoice, so I'm just going to say that I won it on today's date and it's calculated from the quote and I'm going to close the opportunity. Click okay. All right, now the other way this happens is if you go into your opportunities and you click on an opportunity, then in the upper right hand corner here, this is where you're tracking estimated close date and the probability from zero to 100 that it'll close.
