What you need for this course
- In this video, I want to talk to you about what you need to take this course. Well, it's really simple. You need a browser that's connected to the internet, and it should be something like Chrome or Firefox, maybe Edge, but not Explorer. If you're on a Mac, Chrome or Safari. There are some advantages to Chrome on the Mac for Drupal in particular, and I'll point those out when we get there. The second thing you're going to need is a place to host your site. You can either host it locally on your own computer or out on the internet. Now, you may have something already set up and that's fine. I'm going to recommend one of two things today. Number one, if you want to run it on your computer so it's secure and fast, Acquia Dev Desktop is really terrific. It's free.
