(upbeat music) - Hi, and welcome to the Drupal 9 Essential Training. My name's Rod Martin, I'm the instructor for this series, and in this course, we're going to cover taxonomy, media, and modules. All three of these are really critical to a successful Drupal site build. Taxonomy is categorization and we'll dive into that in depth in the coming videos. The new media manager in Drupal 9 is exceptional. At the end of this course, we'll show you how to build an entire digital asset management system with the media module. And then finally, modules. Well, what are modules in Drupal? Well, I'm going to explain that to you in greater depth, but let me just say this. Out of the box, Drupal can do an awful lot of things, but sometimes when you need a new feature, well, you'll turn to a module, and there are literally thousands of add-on modules available for Drupal. All right, with that brief introduction let's dive into taxonomy, media, and modules.
