Creating user accounts

In the video on defining new user policies, we walked through some of the controls you have over how people sign up for your site and become, in Drupal's words, authenticated users. There are essentially three possibilities, which you can see by clicking Configuration and Account settings. When we scroll down, we see a Registration and Cancellation area. You can either have only administrators setup accounts, you can allow visitors to set up their own accounts, or you can have visitors set them up, but require administrator approval. We'll now walk through each of those. During some of these procedures, Drupal sends e-mails to both the person signing up and to the administrator. When we first created this site, I used a bogus address for the administrator, so now I'm going to go back and change it so the administrator e-mail is one that can actually receive mail.
