Creating easy-to-navigate books
Way earlier in the enabling other content types section of this course, we enabled blogs, polls, forums and feeds. Each of those creates its own content type and each delivers information in its own unique way. Now we are going to add one more called books. Now the reason I didn't include this one in the earlier batch is because individual nodes of the book type are really very similar to basic pages and articles. The only difference is that they have features that make it easier for visitors to find their way around from one node to another. Books are navigational rather than functional. The best way to understand them is to take a look at a book and one place to find them is on drupal.org, where much of the documentation is actually in books. We click Documentation and then go to Understanding Drupal, which is a book on the site.
