Creating content types
- [Instructor] When you're building a real site, typically you're going to create all the content types at the same time. So that's what we're going to do. All right, let's add our first content type. Head over to structure, content types and add content type. This screen is the first screen in a wizard that takes us through creating our content type. Let's call this "Business Directory". Now you'll notice as I typed, a machine name was added. You cannot have a duplicate of any machine name across your entire Drupal site. If you did, Drupal would let you know that you can't use that name and request that you change the machine name to one that doesn't exist in the database already. If you click on edit, you're able to update those here but note it can only contain lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. You cannot have spaces or uppercase letters or any special characters.
