Adding fields to the events content type
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to update our events content type and add all of the fields that we need. Let's remind ourselves of the fields we're adding to the event content type. We'll update the body field and name a description. We'll add an entity reference field for the location content type. We're going to add some categorization via taxonomy. A date and time field, a video and file downloads field and a price and link field. If you're not already there, head over to structure, content types, events, and manage fields. Let's update the body label. Click edit, change the label to event description and save settings. And once again, I'm not making any of these fields required, you can certainly make them required if you want. Let's add a date field, click add field and choose date.
