The date input
- [Instructor] Next we'll create the basic syntax for that super helpful date input. And, as almost always, we'll start with the label and we will match the label with the ID in the input type. Earlier, I talked about the value of sometimes supplying a default answer for an input, and we can do that with the date input as well. I want to show you how to do that in the Properties panel, so we're exploiting everything we can get out of Dreamweaver's interface. If I select the input type date, take a look at what's available in the Properties panel. I'll drag that over so we can see it better. We can set a default date, let's say 2020, January first, and that then becomes, if we pull the Properties panel out of the way, the default for what someone will enter for a date. Let's take a look at how this looks in a browser. I already showed you the calendar earlier in Microsoft Edge. Let's take a look at it in Chrome.
