- [Instructor] Background images not only add visual interest to a page, you can also use media queries to prevent the image files from being downloaded by devices with small screens, thereby saving time and data allowances for people browsing on a mobile phone. In this exercise, we'll look at inserting a background image, setting its repeat pattern, size, and position. I've opened info dot html in the chapter eight, 08_04 folder of the exercise files, and I've resized the document window to less than 680 pixels wide. And if I scroll down, at the bottom of the page is this article with the ID Green Program. On small screens, it has just this green background and rounded corners. But on larger screens, I want to add some visual interest. So let's just expand the document window by double clicking on the right hand side here, and I've left this large space. Let's just see where that large space comes from. Select the paragraph, and then in the CSS designer, select the Current button…
