Refining the site for search engines

Once you have your site uploaded, you might realize it might not be coming up in certain search engines, and that's because you need to add additional information to tell search engines what your content is all about. Now, keep in mind, search engines can check your page. In this case, as I turn off Live view, know that everything is organized appropriately. I have you know, these h1 tags h2 tags. Everything looks good. I'm not trying to tricking search engines in any way, but it can actually read the content of my page and serve up this content if the user is searching for it.

But there is additional information I can add, meta information. In fact, for this index page, I can go to Insert > HTML and in the Head Tags, I can insert a description of this page, and that will give search engines a description of what this page is all about, as well as show users in, say, google.com, a description of the page as well.
