Editing in Code view

Now that you have an idea of how the code window works, we're going to talk about how to use it to modify a page. We're just going to do a very basic example here to show you how you can work back and forth between the Code view, and the Design view. As you get more and more comfortable with code, you can actually build the entire page by hand in Code view entirely if you wanted to, and some people still do that. The purpose of what we're going to do here is just to get you a bit more comfortable with working with the Code window. I'm going to come down to my Design view here, put my cursor right after the table, and enter or return to go down to the next line.

Notice, that it's automatically added a paragraph break with a non-breaking space in it, and I'm just going to type, "Dreamweaver CS3 Essential Training".
